- Linode / Akamai — Our website is hosted on Linode (an Akamai company) infrastructure in Chicago, IL. Server access logs may include IP addresses and request metadata for security and operational purposes.
- Google Fonts — This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log requests to Google's servers. See Google's Privacy Policy.
4. SMS Messaging Policy
MNgeek Cloud IT Pros may use SMS (text message) communications via RingCentral to support our managed IT clients. This section describes how we use SMS, how you can opt in or out, and how your information is protected in connection with text messaging.
Program Description
SMS messages from MNgeek are used exclusively for business IT support communications, including but not limited to: IT support ticket updates, scheduled maintenance notifications, system alert notifications, appointment reminders, and follow-up on active service requests. We do not send promotional or marketing SMS messages.
How to Opt In
You may consent to receive SMS messages from MNgeek by providing your mobile phone number and written consent through our contact form, a signed service agreement, or by texting START to our business number. By providing your phone number and consenting, you agree to receive text messages related to your IT support services. Consent is not a condition of receiving services from MNgeek.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your active support needs. During periods of active IT incidents or scheduled maintenance, you may receive multiple messages per day. During routine periods, messages are infrequent and sent only when action or awareness is required.
How to Opt Out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. To re-enable SMS, reply START at any time.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. MNgeek does not charge separately for SMS communications.
Data Sharing
SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates. Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Opt-in data is used solely to deliver the IT support communications described above. Message delivery is facilitated by RingCentral; see RingCentral's Privacy Notice for details on their data practices.
Supported Carriers
SMS service is available through major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carrier support may vary.
5. Cookies and Tracking
This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics scripts. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar tracking technology.
Cloudflare may set a technical cookie (__cf_bm) for bot management purposes. This cookie does not track you across websites and is not used for advertising.
6. Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained in our business email inbox for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain records of our correspondence. If you would like your information removed, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it promptly.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. All data transmitted through our contact form is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS. Our hosting infrastructure is secured with firewall rules, access controls, and monitored by Cloudflare's security services.
No method of electronic transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have concerns about a specific communication, please contact us directly.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for business clients and are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, please contact us and we will remove it.
